Clipboard – High Quality Torrent Available Now!

Here’s a torrent I just put up of the new Lizards song, Clipboard. [Click the link, then hit download .torrent on the isohunt page if you want it.] It’s the same as the downloadable one from reverbnation and myspace, except this MP3 is encoded at 256Kbps for higher resolution. If you’re an audiophile, this is the Clipboard for you, until we get that limited edition vinyl LP on the streets, of course. Torrents require a client – I use and recommend utorrent if you don’t have one. I’ll be seeding it throughout the weekend, after that it’s sort of an iffy proposition, so if you want it, get it now!

I’d also be willing to encode and put up a FLAC version for lossless quality, if anyone’s interested. If this would appeal to you, comment below and we’ll get it done.

  1. Me! Me! I want one! The flac one, that is. I still haven’t figured out torrent….

  2. I tried to get the torrent…but could only get the KFL one. I kept getting a “file does not exist” when I tried to get the HQ CB.

Hm. Don’t know what to tell you, dude. I just clicked on the link here and it went to isohunt, and I clicked download torrent and it worked just fine.

  4. Well, I downloaded this utorrent thing and I’m trying to download the CB torrent, but it just seems to be sitting there doing nothing. No longer available?

  5. I’m tellin’ ya…it wouldn’t work.

Actually, yeah, I shut the computer off when I left this morning since it had been on all weekend, so it’s likely that there’s nobody seeding it right now.

Do you mean the torrent file itself (tiny little file that should open into utorrent and list itself as active or something) is hanging, or that you’ve got UT up and you’re just not getting any progress on the active download in it? The second scenario is likely, the first would confuse me.

I don’t know, Metro, 3 people managed to get it successfully so far. It may be you.

  7. Got the tiny torrent file, but no progress on the download. So, now I understand why. Nobody is seeding it.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, I’ll mix to wave sometime this week and put it on uploader as a FLAC.

Sad that none of my downloading peeps were online, tho.

  9. That’s what I was thinking: easier to get it off the uploader. No rush anyway. I’m wondering if you’ll have time to work on Stay With Me this week. Gordon is bugging us for more tunes, for one.

I need to re download the SWM drum track, I think it got borked in my download or something, the last half is all messed up.

Honestly, if I could get Metro to redo and pull the level back some, that might be ideal.

  11. I can do that…again…

  12. choppernewt Says:

Oh, and play it fricking right this time.

  13. Get some more cymbals in there, too, while you’re at it.

Been listening to our friends Cuttlefish. funny stuff.

Oh, and I uploaded a better version of CB unplugged. I guess it’s better. Somewhat better. Better than garbage. 192kbps.

Up to 10 pages on this goddamned conference paper. The problem is that’s about as long as it should be, but I’m not finished. Damn. Always have too much to say.

    I’m a multi-tasker.

  14. You’re somethin…

  15. Better than nuthin’.

I might have something down for Giant Robot, like today. Depending on whether I can get the wife and kid out the door and off to their respective work and daycare. Then I can indulge in music without feeling guilty. Threw down a total punk rhythm yesterday, but I want to see how it works and add my second guitar part, which is the part I’m really interested playing….

  16. choppernewt Says:

Giant Robot is going to own. I can feel it.

  17. I like this positive attitude coming out of the Chopper.

  18. I meant “threw” down, which I just edited. Feel like an illiterate now.

  19. I like this illiterate side coming our of the Gecko.
